A heart-centered, faith-infused course designed to guide expecting parents through pregnancy with a solid foundation in biblical principles. Led by a Christian doula, this course offers practical support, spiritual encouragement, and biblically-based teachings to help parents prepare for the miracle of birth. Throughout this course, you will learn to connect your faith with every step of your pregnancy and birth journey, from the changes happening in your body to the development of your baby. What You’ll Learn: - Understanding Your Body (Through a Biblical Lens): Discover how your body is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and how to embrace the physical changes of pregnancy as part of God’s beautiful design. You’ll learn about the different stages of pregnancy and how to care for your body as it grows and nurtures new life. - Understanding Your Baby: Learn about the amazing development of your baby throughout pregnancy, and how to honor this miraculous creation. - Building a Faith-Based Foundation for Your Relationships: Strengthen your relationships with your partner & support group as you prepare for the birth of your child. You’ll explore ways to support one another spiritually and emotionally, building a foundation of love, trust, and faith, grounded in biblical principles. - Creating Your Birth Plan: Envision your ideal birth through the lens of faith. Learn to trust in God’s plan for your birth while also making practical preparations. Team Building (Family, Friends, and Medical Support): Learn how to assemble a support team that reflects your values. This includes family, friends, and medical professionals who will surround you with prayer, encouragement & physical support. Comfort Techniques: Discover natural comfort techniques such as breathing exercises, prayer, and positions that can help you manage pain. Explore how you can use your faith to find peace and strength during labor, trusting in God’s presence every step of the way.
